Thanks

I made this one of our spelling words today. And I'm always impressed when others find good things around them, when life can seem so dreary and down.
I am challenging myself to go throughout the day, rather than "not complaining" I'm going to try to remember to be thankful.

I am thankful I have my sight. I teach a blind boy this year. I am LEARNING far more than I will teach him. I am grateful for so many things involving sight, but I don't want to make him seem sad or pitiful because he's absolutely not, so I won't compare all the things I see that remind me many times daily the gift I have.
